The Process of Greatness! (The 3 P’s)
Hello Cincinnati!
Please say hello to (from left to right) Jordan, Luke, and Kelly
One of our Core Values is Pursuit of Greatness.
We are always looking to be better and we will never stop, and on the surface that might sound like a BIG task. Over my working career in other companies, I noticed that there can often be a divide between management, supervisors, sales staff, and production staff and we wanted to find a simple way that everyone wins. One of the ways that shakes out for our culture is to have a peer review following every single project that we perform. This peer review includes:
- The salesperson that sold the project
- The production staff that performed the work
- The project manager that managed the project
We have been doing this for years and we feel it is the single biggest way to share information. Our goal is to learn from everyone’s perspective:
- Did we make our client happy, did we make them feel cared for? What’s the proof?
- Was the quote for the project accurate and was the scope well defined and easy to follow?
- Was the project well planned and did it follow our schedule?
- Did we have what we need when we needed it?
- What did we learn?
- Even when a project goes very well, what is 1 thing we can do better?
- Was the project profitable?
Then the best part! The team gets to share in the win! At the end of every project peer review that meets the team’s standards, the team gets to enjoy getting to share in the profit! We have a saying around here that we call the 3P’s, as this is the true heart of our Peer Review meetings.
-By providing World Class Service we Preserve our culture, Promise the future, our Profit funds the Promise!
Having a team that looks out for each other and enjoys seeing each other win is one of the best parts of what we do!
