OUR PROCESS
THE BIEHL BROTHERS WAY
Our Proven Process for over 20 Years in Business
We know that you have so much to consider when planning a project at your home with Biehl Brothers. In preparation for your project, our family wants to give your family our very best! Something we have been saying for years is that this process started years ago for you. You now provide us with the opportunity to be a part of your project because you have worked hard, likely sacrificed, and managed your resources well.
We realize it took a lot of planning to get this far and we keep that perspective at the top of our minds in all we do for your family.
Our deepest gratitude for considering Biehl Brothers Team
Ryan & Chase Biehl
01 – TIME TO MEET
This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We will evaluate your project on-site, taking photos, notes, and measurements. You will have access to our platform, JobTread, and meet your Project Manager as well as your Sales Representative. Depending on the scope of the project, a Designer or Architect may also attend this meeting.
02 – LET US HOST YOU
After your Sales Representative completes the Comprehensive Project Evaluation Quote, they will reach out to schedule a review. We welcome you to our office to meet the staff and owners, and to tour our office grounds. This is your opportunity to ask questions, receive answers, and request specific changes. If you have a Design Agreement with an Architect, you will also review concept drawings.
03 – YOU’RE IN
While at our office, not only will you have the opportunity to tour our grounds, meet our team, and review your project, but if you are satisfied, you may proceed to sign the retainer contract. This will secure your spot on our schedule. A 5% deposit is required. Once the contract is signed, you can begin shopping with your designer or independently with our guidance. Any changes to drawings or selections can be made between the retainer and final contract stages.
04 – BEFORE THE FINAL CONTRACT
Once we are in the Retainer stage, there will be an on-site visit with the Project Manager, Sales Representative, and, if available, the Architect or Designer. You will also have the opportunity to meet the Trade Partners working on your projects. They will be present to verify site conditions and provide their revised bids.
05 – IT’S OFFICIAL
Once all required trade partner quotes, selections, and permits are finalized, your Sales Representative will reconcile the quote with the final numbers. You will then be invited to our office for a Final Contract Signing, which will require a 33% deposit.
06 – MEETING THE CREW
While we procure all materials and prepare for the first day of your project, you will have access to our platform, JobTread, where you can review all the details about your project, including the schedule, quotes, files, and team information. We will also conduct a final visit with your production crew, known as the “Pre-Job Walk,” to review the final project details, process, and other important aspects before work begins. This visit will include your Project Manager and Sales Representative.
07 – THE BIG DAY!
Our Project Manager will inform you of the scheduled start date for the crew. They will then unload their tools into the project area and begin work.
08 – DURING PRODUCTION
In JobTread, you will have access to Daily Logs created by the production lead. These logs will include photos and a brief summary of the completed tasks for that day, as well as schedule updates. You will also receive weekly invoices from the Office Manager on Tuesdays, with payments collected on Wednesdays. The Project Manager will conduct weekly on-site visits to ensure the project remains on schedule and to address any questions you may have. If you are paying by check, the Project Manager will collect the payment during these visits.
09 – ALL DONE!
As the crew begins to finalize the project, you will have the opportunity to notify us of any Punch List items before completion. Once the project is complete, we will conduct a final walk-through with the team. During this final walk-through, we welcome your feedback, encourage you to review our work, and arrange for professional photos of your project.
