Hey Cincinnati!
I’ve always been a sucker for any kind of show or movie set in space. Just like the cast of Big Bang Theory, Star Trek: The Next Generation will forever hold a special place in my heart. I remember when I was an early teen and at 9pm every Friday night, this show was my escape from the real world. There were so many things about the show that I liked.
The two I think I liked the most were:
- the thought that it didn’t matter which direction Captain Picard turned that ship, there was an adventure to be had
- Wesley Crusher’s role in the show
Wesley was the closest to my age at the time, and it was addicting for me at the time to see how over time, the young ensign was steadily and gradually trusted more and more by the captain. I think now as I sit back and type this, it means more to me than I knew. The show followed Wesley as he had both key mistakes and victories.
Now that I am at the helm so to speak, and as I look toward my 50th birthday, I see things unfolding here at Biehl Brothers Contracting in the Next Generation.
Stay tuned for the next part of the story!
