Hello Cincinnati! During many of our projects, we encountered engineering challenges that required our immediate attention. On this particular job, our team lead discovered rot, which was a result of the previous contractor’s use of foam and duct tape (yuk!!) to fill a section of the deck, inadvertently allowing water to seep in. Thankfully, our architect working on the project devised an excellent solution that left the homeowner thoroughly satisfied. The proposed solution involved relocating columns and lowering the porch. With a clear plan in place, our crew promptly began their work. We diligently supported the beams and implemented additional protective measures to prevent any potential weather-related issues throughout the duration of the process. Experience matters!
